In December 2024, the second mobility of our KA2 project, “Promoting creative non-verbal teaching techniques to foster social inclusion and group cohesion,” took place in Martinique. This project, co-funded by the European Commission, brings together our organization and our partners from On Continue! (France) to promote innovative and inclusive educational methods.
Building on the progress made during the Tenerife meeting in October 2024 (read more about it here), this mobility in Martinique focused on providing training for educators and trainers on using non-verbal teaching techniques to enhance inclusion and engagement in diverse educational settings.
The training sessions introduced participants to creative non-verbal methods like movement-based activities, visual storytelling and drama exercises. These techniques offer educators innovative ways to foster group cohesion and improve communication with learners who may face language or cultural barriers.
In addition to the practical training, we held work meetings where project partners shared insights and adapted these methods for broader implementation. This collaborative approach is key to ensuring that the project continues to benefit migrants, refugees and other learners with fewer opportunities.
The Martinique mobility was a vibrant and productive step forward in this Erasmus+ initiative. These exchanges continue to strengthen our collaboration and pave the way for the development of our Training Plan and Online Course, key deliverables of this 1-year project.
