Between 7-15th October 2024, we had our kick off project meeting in Tenerife, with our partner organization On Continue! (France). Our KA2 project entitled “Promoting creative non-verbal teaching techniques to foster social inclusion and group cohesion” started in August 2024. It was great to be able to meet in person after many virtual meetings.
We started the mobility with a job-shadowing visit, where our colleagues from On Continue! could observe the methods we use during our training courses.
We also had work meetings where we discussed innovative approaches to education, we mapped different non-verbal and body-based methods in order to diversify our teaching methods and promote social inclusion among migrants, refugees and other learners with fewer opportunities. We designed the foundation for our Training plan and Online course that we will develop together during the 1-year project.
More information about the project
With this small-scale partnership, we aim to train trainers who work with migrant or disadvantaged adults in using creative teaching techniques and non-verbal methods to promote social inclusion.
Our target groups are trainers working with migrants and adults with fewer opportunities.
The final beneficiaries will be the migrants or disadvantaged people who will participate in the workshops set up by the adult education trainers who will participate in our training courses.
